Hall has served with some of the nation’s top public relations firms. Most recently, he was a vice president at Caponigro Public Relations, Inc. where he provided counsel to legal, higher education and financial institution clients. He held senior-level positions for 13 years at Weber Shandwick Worldwide (formerly Casey Communications Management) where he earned a national reputation for his work in environmental affairs and crisis management. He was elected in 1996 as National President of the Environmental Section for the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). He is an Accredited member of the PRSA.
His experience includes counseling some of the nation’s most successful companies -- such as General Motors, EDS, 3M Company, Comerica Incorporated, Dow Automotive, BorgWarner and Holcim (US) Inc. He has won several national public relations awards during his career.
Before his years at Weber Shandwick, he was a public relations executive at the counseling firm of Anthony M. Franco, Inc., and taught writing courses at Wayne State University . He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in English from Wayne State University , and was a two-time winner of the university’s top writing award.
He is a frequent speaker and has published numerous articles on reputation management, environmental affairs, crisis management, employee communications and effective business writing. He has also taught environmental affairs and public relations courses at the University of Michigan and Walsh College .
